We walked from the Amtrak station to the hotel in 15 minutes and early check-in was available - really appreciated that! We took a bus to our meeting on SE Hawthorne and had a great meal at Harlow's. Wonderful time browsing in Powell's bookstore on Hawthorne, too. Back to the hotel by bus for a quiet ...
Stayed here two nights with our daughter and son inlaw, the room was perfect, Hotel was funky, great bar/ restaurant attached.... and walking distance to everything.
I was surprised how small the room was considering the price. The marketplace next to the lobby was also expensive -- we got a small bag of popcorn for $6. The menu for the cafe had some interesting food choices, but nothing that was kid-friendly so we didn't eat there. The staff was very friendly ...
Helpful staff, nice room, and excellent gym (the best I've had at a hotel with free weights and punching bag). A unique location that is close enough to downtown to be accessible via streetcar, but out of the downtown bustle and next to the greenbelt/river. We enjoyed walking to the Spaghetti Factory ...
A good hotel where they pay attention to the little details. Their breakfast buffet was amazing, they had a small fenced off area for pets (which Arya the puppy loved) and the rooms were clean and spacious. This might become my to go hotel for future visits to Portland.
We enjoyed the stayed. The welcome cookies are very delicious. Restaurant has simply but finely crafted menu. The server was very attentive. The hotel has shuttle to the airport though we did not utilize it. We did not feel the noise at all though it is an airport hotel.
Our Hotel deLuxe experience was wonderful. Our double queen room was roomy and clean, fun views of the city, friendly, helpful staff (they offered to carry our stroller up and down the stairs every time we returned or left), and the restaurant/bar inside the hotel were awesome. We'd stay here again ...
