"Staff at the front desk were excellent. Housekeeping did take our dirty towels but didn't leave any clean ones which meant I had to go to desk and ask for some. Wasn't a huge deal but I was on my way to the pool. They should have had housekeeping bring them to the room instead of making me wait for them."

"Such a family friendly hotel. We were nervous about traveling with a three month old but the location itself was perfect. We stayed in a suite so I was able to manage nursing baby quite well on the road. The beach and pool were only steps away which was helpful!"

"Older property, maintained well. The shower never got hot. Layout of the bathroom/kitchen was weird. Toilet and shower are in one room and the sink is a kitchen sink on the counter outside the toilet/shower area. Not really good for washing faces, but otherwise workable. Good place to stay for the price."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were vey impressed with the motel. It was well maintained and very clean. I staff went out of hair way to make us feel welcome and assist us when needed. We will definitely make a return visit to Shutters on the Banks."

"Front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and accessible. Room was clean. The only thing that could have been better for us personally is the curtain situation. When it was time for bed the room didn't get very dark at all because of the lights coming through from the outside parking lot, etc.. this could easily be fixed if needed/wanted. Other than that it was a cute little place."
