"The Sanderling is an excellent resort that is well maintained and full of amenities. The staff is professional, friendly, and courteous. We had a fantastic king suite with an ocean view. Please be aware that the building does not have elevators, so we had to lug our suitcases up and down four flights of stairs to our third-floor room. Navigating stairs is also the only way into the main entrance, so be prepared to carry your luggage—not exactly ADA-compliant. Additionally, our room featured two very large TVs: one in the living room and one in the adjacent bedroom. While convenient, both remotes operated both TVs simultaneously; turning on the bedroom TV would cause the living room TV to turn on to its previous channel and volume level, which was frustrating. With all of that said, the Sanderling is still a wonderful choice for a beach vacation in the Outer Banks!"

"The house was everything we were looking for and in a great location! We enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the location, while being so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. There were great spaces in the house to spend time all together or to find a quiet space for yourself. The pool and hot tub were clean and well utilized! The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The house was amply stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!"

"This beach home was absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for a place that allowed pets, had a pool, a short walk to the beach, fenced in backyard and this one was ideal. The home layout was awesome with a downstairs which led out to backyard area which was perfect for getting up and letting our pets out. The downstairs also had wonderful couch, TV and contained the washer and dryer. Being the first to get up, the downstairs allowed me to get our pets out and then come in and take a little nap without disturbing anyone else. Did I mention the hot tub? This was another outstanding feature! Our weather was a bit cool at times, so the hot tub made for a perfect way to relax during those days and nights. Both the pool and hot tub were super clean and the pool guy came twice during our week stay to ensure everything was ok. The upstairs had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. My kids, like many, play these video games and as the home had multiple TV's, it enabled them to play the games when the weather wasn't ideal or in the evenings. The kitchen was awesome too with a large dining table where we all gathered for our meals. Beach access was super easy and a short walk. I can't express how perfect this beach home was for us. I am already looking forward to going back again next year!"
