“Very welcoming staff. Comfortable beds. Quality food, but not for the budget minded.”

“The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but……

“Beautiful place, very comfortable, must visit again.”

“The best feature of Borderers is Gail the lovely hostess. She goes above and beyond to help her guests feel special. A gem hard to find in this crazy world. The building is very old with great history set in the centre of Brecon. The best feature of our accommodation was the bathroom with a wonderful shower. However the room itself was a bit crowded and difficult to freely move around in. Would we stay again - Yes so long as Gail is there!”

“This hotel/guest house is mainly a wedding venue but can be booked for individual stays. I was on a business trip and just needed a bed before an early start. Breakfast is provided in a little hamper and had plenty of good quality fruit, bread, danish etc which suited me better than a cooked breakfast at eg 7am because I was up and out by 6am. There was no human to check in but codes were provided for the main door and a key box for the room. Everything was clean and tasteful and it worked……

“Lovely suite, amazing views, helpful staff and fantastic breakfast”

“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”

“These pods are first class, as is the pub. Incredibly friendly helpful staff, delicious food and a perfect location. Would highly recommend.”
