“The first room was up 4 flights of stairs which was difficult having COPD the central heating was permanently on and couldn't turn it off, it made a racket all night stopped us sleeping, they eventually moved us to a bungalow which was much better but the hot water was boiling hot and could be very dangerous for children . There was NO restaurant or bar which was advertised . it was self catering but no shop to buy food and the internet on for 4 days Not impressed and would not recommend”

“Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

“I booked the hedgehogs view as a suprise to celebrate my husband's 50th. I was quite apprehensive about the size as although we were only a party of 4 and a dog, we do all value our own space. From the moment we pulled on to the drive we were amazed at the little Hobbiton village in mid Wales. There's a good amount of space inside the accommodation; nobody bumped their heads gandalf style. “Muy linda vista frente al mar. La habitación muy básica. Nos hospedamos una noche con un niño. Muy simple. Super chica la ducha. Cuando nos íbamos no teníamos donde dejar la llave. Justo llegó una persona que abría el bar y pudimos dejar la llave. La caja donde había que dejar la llave no estaba. Llegamos tarde y nos dejaron en un sobre la llave para poder ingresar a la pieza. Eso estuvo muy bien.”

It is dated, not luxury, but fine for our purposes, and cost is reasonable. Beware some rooms are up a lot of stairs after walking up a steep driveway to reach the property.”

“We had an early start / check out so we were due to miss breakfast. We were offered a breakfast-to-go prior to our check in and this was remembered without prompting and handed to us at check-in. Uts nice when this happen as promised.”
