"First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. "We loved staying in this little retreat suite/studio home. It was the perfect size for me and my partner, ideally situated on the north side of the island for easy/driveable access to Hanalei and Kapa'a. Waking up to the sound of birds (not just chickens!) and seeing a tropical view from the large windows was tranquil. We're not fussy, so the hot plate and microwave were enough. We will definitely think of this place if we return to Kauai again! One small note: there's no washing machine or dryer, so plan accordingly. If you do want to do laundry, you can reach out to the host, who is willing to accommodate for a small fee. Otherwise, there is a coin laundry facility in Kapa'a (30 minutes away)."

"The 2 bedroom unit was homey and large, with en suite bathrooms for each room. AC in every room worked great and Wi-Fi was included. We had a very comfortable stay. The property was super close to restaurants/Foodland/Hanalei. Will stay again!!"
