Cozy suite with mountain and lake views. Easy walk to ski shuttle and shopping.
4.8 out of 10, 3 reviews
"Ok for 1 night. Room was cold upon arrival. Not as clean as other VRBO stays. Used/ dirty sponge left. Towels had some dye stains and smelled a bit musty. No exterior lights when we returned in the early evening and a lot of stairs up to the suite. Fridge wasn’t plugged in but we didn’t realize until morning when our leftovers were spoiled. The room was as advertised. Parking was good. Shower had great water pressure and hot. Host was great to communicate with. We would choose to stay somewhere...

"Very unique place - to be honest the front yard and exterior takes you by surprise, and made us hesitant, very cluttered and decorated with many, many eclectic items. But the inside is very clean and toned down....still very ecentric, but in a lovely way. Very creative. We loved our stay and felt comfortable. Thank you for such a unique stay!!"

"Susanna was Great! She was great with communication. We asked if we could arrive early and she made it possible! She gave great tips on where to go in town for great food and drinks. The guest house is perfect! I loved the lighting and all the sweet pictures! The bed was so comfy! We are hikers, so make sure you check out Pulpit Rock. (bring poles, lots of stairs!) It's a great view of Nelson. We also enjoyed the Kokanee Lake hike. Thanks, Susanna, we will be back for sure!!"

"The suite was great lots of natural light with 10ft high windows and big skylights. Lots of room. Kitchen had fridge with ice machine and filtered water which I thought was a great amenity. There was only an extra large 2 person shower which was fine for us but just to be aware no bathtub. Would have been helpful if there was signage as to were kitchen fan switch was since we ended up setting off fire alarm. By the way it's behind the toaster oven. Only real negative is the parking. ...

"This property was perfect for our family vacation to the area. Polly and Tony were kind, welcoming and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The deck was a perfect space for us to eat meals and play card games in the evening. The beach was a short, easy walk along a mowed path and was very private - we only encountered other people there one time in four days. The cabin, yard and beach were very dog-friendly and our golden retriever had the time of his...
