“The rooms are spotless. Beds were comfortable. Douvets were cozy and sheets are all clean. They obviously have pride in ownership. The owners were present, ensuring everything was in order. They once owned it, then sold it to an investor who unfortunately didn't love the resort like they do. Luckily they bought it back and you can tell they are putting sweat equity back into restoring the resort. It's incredibly charming- from the woods finishing to the immaculate floors. “There was a beautiful beach view from the ocean-front portion of the hotel, there just wasn't much beach to see. The Presidential Suites area was nice and relaxing, quiet, nice visitors, and the pool view off the balcony was perfect. The suite itself was more than adequate, and the hotel is within walking distance of all the grocery stores, most restaurants, and other shops in the area. Thank you to our host for allowing us to stay at this property.”

“We reserved the Royal Suites for our second day in teh Puerto Plata area. The first day we stayed at Casa Colonial and it was awsome! At Lifestyles from the begining even checking in was painful, there were a lot of people we had to wait to check in and then wait for the room to be ready. Once we got to the room we were very dissapointed it was not what is advertised in the pictures on the web site, in fact it was old, not kept up to date.
