“Idon’t usually leave negative reviews because I’m a very patient and understanding person, but this experience was too disappointing not to share. I traveled to Confresi Palm Beach Resort with my family, expecting a relaxing vacation. Instead, it turned into one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. The customer service was by far the biggest issue. Many of the employees we interacted with were rude, sarcastic, and acted as if helping guests was an inconvenience. Simple questions were……

“No compren ninguna estadía en ese hotel, es tremenda porquería. Se va la luz y a la ves te quedas sin agua y no tienen planta. Las comidas horribles y las facilidades viejas y sucias. La limpieza tienen 0. No tienen facilidades para personas con impedimento, poco personal. En el bufet tienen poco personal y no tienen cubiertos suficientes ni platos. Definitivamente estuve 7 días y fue la peor estadía de mi vida.”

“Es la segunda vez que visito este resort y han perdido mucha calidad en la comida y en todo en comparación con la primera experiencia, ya ahora si llega antes 3pm no le permiten entrar a almorzar y lo hacen esperar sentado en el lobby al menos que page $10 dólares por persona por el early check in para poder entrar a almorzar y como quiera nos dieron la habitación a las 4pm. “Some staff were very kind and helpful, room kept losing light we had to call several times for help , there was random water coming into our room I ended up cleaning it with our towels and the towels were supposed to be replaced and they never came back . Bartenders and waiters were what made the experience really nice. You can't do much more with VIP but the private beach spot and one hangout spot so I wouldn't even suggest getting it. “Sosúa by the Sea is a hidden gem. The staff was amazing and the hotel is well kept. The rooms are rustic and the amenities are very nice. This is not an all-inclusive hotel so please note that you will have pay for your food, drinks and room safe. The views are breathtaking. My husband and I will be back next year.”

“I have been returning to Velero Beach Resort multiple times over the past 20 years. The stay is always wonderful. The staff are exceptionally gracious and the location right on the water's edge is magnificent. Daily breakfast in the Sunset Grill is always a treat, only to be surpassed by watching sunset from the same location for dinner. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back again.”
