The location is very good, and the staffs are pretty nice!

I travel frequently to Cairo and this is my go-to hotel. It's reasonably priced, safe, spotlessly clean, quiet, in an excellent location, and the staff are perfect. No one pressures you to take side trips booked with them or anything like that. They have a roof terrace where you can enjoy the included breakfast complete with specialty coffees. The metro is maybe a 4 minute walk. The air conditioning is excellent and quiet, the beds are perfectly comfortable, and my room included a refrigerator. Although this review is for one night because I was just passing through Cairo this trip, I have actually stayed at this hotel for weeks at a time. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes walk, there is a money exchange machine 90 second walk, fresh fruit and veggies 5 min walk. Be sure to try El Hamrah Lebanese restaurant, the world famous Abu Tariks koshari restaurant, El Abds patisserie... All within a few minutes walking. I am American and this hotel meets my standards.
