"Check in was slow but the member of staff dealing with it kept us informed. When she showed us to our room we were very pleased. It was extremely spacious with a massive bed, beautifully decorated and with lovely views from both the bedroom and the bathroom (with strategically placed vase for modesty!). The room was very clean and had everything you would expect. Tasty shortbread provided alongside the tea and coffee. We ate ‘in’ on both nights of our stay and the food was very good -XL fish and chips and whole sea bream were especially nice - and helpings generous. Ale choices were well kept and the wine list reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good with home made yogurt and bread, choices of cooked food and some very positive and welcoming staff."

"The staff were great. I slept well despite the rattling window and the waterproof mattress. Everything was really clean except the area around the door handles, and the windowsills. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the corridor lights dimmed at night - I was the last one to go to bed in my dorm and the room flooded with light as I opened the door 😬"

"Had a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful little B&B, close enough to Richmond whilst also still being in the countryside. Owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely, even had a little fridge and microwave. We had a breakfast both mornings, whilst watching all the birds and a couple of woodpeckers out in the garden. We would definitely stop here again."
