"We had a wonderful stay in this home in a quiet historic area of Danville. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our evenings hanging out and playing pool. The back porch looks out into a pretty backyard with a huge tree. "This cozy cottage was the perfect fit and location for me and my family’s visit to Danville and the Caesars Casino! The bedrooms were much larger than I expected in comparison to the photos online! "This house was perfect for our stay. Every bed was filled but the house is so spacious it never felt too crowded. Each bedroom and bathroom was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is in a good location. We were able to walk to a coffee shop on the corner, which we enjoyed. Plenty of street parking for everyone - it was never an issue. "The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. "

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"We booked this house to attend what turned out to be a horrible festival called blueridge rock festival. While our festival had issues our rental did not! Our rental had plenty of space for us to invite friends over , bake a lasagna and play some card games together which helped salvage our trip. The home was very spacious, had a lot of nice touches such as a variety of Board games, extra dishes and cookware ect. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy! 10/10 would recommend."

"This was a quick pit stop from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail that runs through Walnut Cove. Hosts were very kind and communicative. Tiny house was clean and bed was comfortable. Didn’t get to use the hot tub due to time constraints but it looked amazing! Thanks!"

I was a little surprised to see the steep steps that lead to the apartment….it probably mentioned it in the description, but I overlooked it.
