Beautiful place to stay. Well appointed. Finished carpentry is beautiful.

This is an excellent place start-up. The room was very well decorated! Very nice! The bed was sooo comfortable. The room and bath were very clean and the workmanship was very well-done. There were a few things still to do. The accessible room on the 1st floor was not quiet so a wedding rehearsal was right in there w us. There are issues with door entry codes, have a staffed, obvious check-in desk for service and directions to room. A posted guide to thermostat use, please have better coffee!...

This hotel was renovated a few years ago and re-opened. All rooms are on the 2nd floor and I've stayed in about 4 different ones as each one is unique to the building's architecture. I mention the second floor because there is no elevator so you have to use stairs. Handicapped people might have trouble, I'd check with the hotel as to what they can accommodate. Good, hot breakfast with egg disks and sausage, waffles. Whole fruits. Cereals and skim and whole milk. Price not bad since it was on sale for one day only. Room could have been warmer since they knew we were coming and had the room picked out. Location good by interstate and gas stations nearby.

Excellent place to stay. VERY clean!

This little hotel was just wonderful! The scenic decks overlooking the Ohio River were so enjoyable! And we loved the Halloween decorations! The staff was super personable. The room was very clean and cozy. Breakfast was nice and we loved how they enclosed part of the deck so you could enjoy the view and have your breakfast but still stay warm. The little bar was well supplied and the prices were good. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Madison.

Sit on the front porch and watch the activity on the Ohio River. Room loaded with ambiance of days gone by. Very quiet and comfortable.

Easy access from the interstate. Room size was nice and plenty. The condition of the room was very clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable.

When we reached our room the phone rang and asked if our room was OK. This has never happened to us EVER. The staff at this Comfort Inn were fabulous.

Love Hillside Inn. Always go there when we go to Madison.

My three sisters and I stayed in the Boho room which was just perfect for the four of us! The building location was great and parking was not an issue. Our room and the building were very clean, updated but still included the charm of the historic past.

Nice room for the money

This was a random unplanned stay on the way home from Charleston, SC. Tired of driving, we decided to get some sleep. Found this on Expedia with great ratings and booked it. When we arrived at 9pm, we were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff member who also took the time to interact with my children!! We settled in on the 4th floor in an enormous 2 queen room with so much space for the 5 of us. It was not a usual sized 2 queen room. After driving all day, we let the kids get rid of some...

This place has the best hot water and water pressure I've ever seen, goes well with the in room hot tub

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The woman at the front desk went out of her way to print off maps to Oxford, Ohio for the families staying there. Everything was very clean throughout the hotel. The breakfast was very tasty and there were plenty of choices for everyone. I would definitely stay here again.
