"This is an adequate place to stay. The room is small and there is no ability to cook other than the microwave. There is a refrigerator but no freezer. The bathtub took a long time to drain after use. But....it is close to the beach and a nice ABC store and it is ideally located to explore the island."

"Short walk to beach and shopping/restaurants. Efficiency kitchen, so plan on most meals out."

"The condo was well maintained, within walking distance to shopping and dining, has sunrise/ocean views, and direct access to the beach with loungers and outdoor pool/spa. Small kitchenette and flaky TV/AV remotes were the only minor issues. Had a wonderful time!"

"EXCELLENT communication. FABULOUS view with sense of privacy in our second floor oceanfront unit. Beach chairs, boogie boards and cooler available in unit. Great location for going anywhere on the island."

"The TV was impossible to figure out even with the multiple instructions. There isn’t a HDMI2! We didn’t care too much as we don’t watch a lot of TV but you need better instructions for the next guest."

"The property is neat and clean! It is a little older but well maintained. Nice pool with a bar that opens at 3PM. BBQ grills available for cooking. The location is central to the Island and close to Costco and Walmart. Plenty of restaurants near by. This rental 309 has a patio that overlooks the pool and ocean. Most enjoyable!"

"Overall I give this one an 8 staff is great location okay noise level 5 Short walk to the beach. View is pretty good. A few things didn't work. Or we're missing. But I was told by the property manager. They are working on those. The central coast is great As far as getting around the island. But the road noise and sirens. Might be a bit much for some. Would we stay here again? Maybe"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described, when we entered we were greeted with beautiful fresh tropical flowers and lovely Hawaiian treats. The ground floor unit has a walk out lanai where you can have your feet in the sand in seconds, and a nice foot bath to wash the sand off your feet was a great touch. The studio condo is nicely decorated with a tropical flair. There is air conditioning, which we didn’t use, but many like having it as an option. There were chairs,...

"We loved that the unit was oceanfront and we could watch the sunrise every morning. Wish there was a small dishwasher though so we didn’t have to do everything by hand. But the room was well kept and nicely decorated and very comfortable. Thanks for the chocolates! "

"The expansive property was secluded and beautiful even though it was a short walk to restaurants, grocery, shopping and shaved ice. The room/bed was very comfortable and it was always quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the waves."

"It was good for our one night stop over. Steep on price for an old hotel… but the people working here are nice, rooms, rooms were clean and the pools were nice. Hate carpet in old hotels and the pull out was beyond uncomfortable. "

"This is our third time staying at Kappa Sands with our small family. We absolutely love it. The beach is perfect for young kids, walk down the beach and the surf is perfect for riding waves. The pool is as always an attraction. We have family meals with all the kitchen appliances you need and a big refrigerator. The life is so sweet at at our little piece of aloha."
