"The room was not cramped but looked really tired. Heavily stained carpet. Cupboard shelves damaged. Stayed in an ADA room (only available). When you shower most of the bathroom floor gets wet. Odd, stainless steel sink with sharp edges, like what you see in prison cells in the movies . No option to make coffee or tea in room. Since it is in Manhattan there is no shortage of dining and shopping options around. They charge a $50 a night "Destination fee". What is the destination, it is Manhattan? If you need to charge an extra $50, raise the room price instead of hiding in fees."

"Wonderful staff. Room was clean and New-York sized, plain but comfortable and clean. Wish there was coffee service that didn’t require wait lines at the (excellent) French bakery cafe on the first floor. "

"Very nice stay, and staff was great. I forgot to report it, but the detachable shower sprayer in room 122 had a leak in the hose. We didn't use amenities."

"Great Location. We had a King suite , lots of room and worth the money. A wealth of restaurants within walking distance . A shout out to the Amsterdam Market across the street. The food to go is excellent, Many mornings grabbed a fresh omelet for $10 and brought it up to the room , The hotel is very clean . The elevators are very slow as it is an older building but thats a minor detail"
