“Staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and there was plenty of choice. Parking was easy.”

“Not enough parking for visitors on arrival.. The staff are fine however the hotel needs a complete refit. Rooms very dated. Old pine furniture and fixings. Clean and tidy thankfully. Breakfast was OK but basic with not much choice. Sorry but we won't be returning. 🙁”

The house is beautifully preserved through time and retains its original features, which have been lovingly maintained. The rooms overlook a picturesque countryside and exude a peaceful atmosphere. Our rooms were comfortable, impeccably clean and generously proportioned……

“Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.”

“Nice B&b , lugging heavy suitcases up stairs is a problem. They need a luggage elevator. Food and bar great. No ac and fan a bit noisy and old. Good parking .”

“The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. ”

“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“The property had no reception, used key code system and only one key to get in and out so could not go separately out of building. Was asking to ring them prior to going as we had booked through Expedia to complete information, rang 5 times but no response and ended up going down uncertain as to whether we actually had a booking. Had to go to other harbour place and phone the cleaners number who actually contacted a lady who took info needed”

What really stood out was the staff—everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and added to an already enjoyable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.”
