Staff said they could not move our rooms as they were completely booked. Heated pool was not functioning correctly, exercise room was closed, no coffee pot in one of the rooms. Extremely disappointed.”

“Very beautiful historic tavern. The rooms are on the second and third floor so after you check in the staff will shoe you to the room. It can be a bit confusing navigating the building but it is full of historic architecture and portraits of presidents that had visited before. “LIMITED HOUSEKEEPING AT THIS HOTEL. I can't believe this place was highly rated on Expedia. We walked into our first room and it had not been cleaned. The beds were unmade. When we went back down to the lobby, another couple had the same experience (they were on the 3rd room!) During our 4-night stay, we never had our room cleaned. They replaced our towels twice, but that was the extent of housekeeping. Front desk service was spotty. The breakfast buffet was decent.”
