"It was a great place to spend a few days with our family at the JW Marriot Hill Country. A great time was had by all at the waterpark with the slides, beach area, lazy rivers, and kids play areas. It's endless fun! Our family enjoyed the gorgeous property and the variety of dining options. In addition to playing pickleball with additional onsite guests, we enjoyed meeting the amazing staff members. Overall, we look forward to returning much more in the future. "

"The hotel was on the riverwalk in a prime loction. When we arrived we were greeted with free margaritas. They also have mariachis play every friday night in the lobby. The rooms were spacious, updated and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room and vallet services were great. Overall it was a great stay"

"Wonderful hotel with so much character! Super comfy beds, great AC units, and room along with hotel was super clean. Only inconvenience was no ice machines (apparently to remain true to its era), but room service brings ice when needed. Conveniently located downtown and near lots of great restaurants and the Majestic Theater."

"The price for parking was a bit high, but nice that the property was within easy walking distance to the Alamo and River Walk so we did not have to pay to park somewhere else too. The rooms were nice, breakfast was ok, the pool was conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."
