“The hotel was fantastic. Very quiet, wonderful to be surrounded by nature and only hear birdsong. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the facilities were spotless and there were some nice touches such as complimentary apples, spring water and even a hot water bottle. Great to have no television and the hotel's sustainability scores highly and is to be commended. This hotel deserves to be in the Leading Hotels of the World and we will definitely return.”

“Really pleasant and helpful staff. Arrived at 1100 and asked to leave our bags somewhere and were told our room was already ready and we could check in. Rooms really spacious and welcoming with a bit of antique touch. Hotel right in the centre so convenient for pretty much everything. Nice bar, with outside seating and lots of shade. Only downside is there looked to be limited breakfast options (but plenty options close by) and no coffee in the room, but all in all an excellent stay.”
