Poor signage. Hard to find

Hallways stunk. Finish work in poor condition. Not the cleanest by any means.

Is that weed mom?

Our room smelled like weed- like- REALLY smelled like weed, to the point that we actually looked for what may have been left behind by a previous guest, or drug cartel foot soldier, the bathroom light did not work & neither did the phone to call the front desk and tell them. There was no toilet paper. The ice maker on my floor did not work. The entire hotel smells like a wet dog sprayed with perfume. The staff was apologetic & took 15% off the bill.

“Low” Quality Inn

The staff was friendly but the hotel is nasty. Our 1st room had a horrible odor so the staff gave us a ‘better’ room. It took THREE attempts for us to get a key that worked for that room. While the second room didn’t have a terrible odor, the AC didn’t work and there were several holes in the ceiling. Including a hole where the smoke alarm was supposed to be!? We didn’t realize the AC didn’t work until too late so we spent a very hot, humid sleepless night there. We cancelled our 2nd night and went to a new hotel. This is an obvious example of a hotel owner who did a cheap “update” to the hotel rather than a full renovation which is desperately needed. We won’t return.

Need improvements

Hotel was old and in poor condition. There was a musty smell throughout the hotel, and it certainly could use some refreshing. Breakfast was nothing special. The room has no smell, however, and was a positive during the stay.

Staff was nice. Only light in bathroom did not work and in the morning there were two cockroaches on the table. Manager said he was new and working on the problem.

Poor Maid Service

During 3-day stay room never vacuumed, dusted or sink cleaned. First floor rooms not available at 4:00 when we checked in because no one to clean them. Very poor service for peak rates.

Got what I wanted

Pros: location
I needed a clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed, in that location, for only a couple nights. I got what I needed at a reasonable price. I will be back next year.

Disappointing

Pros: New Manager is trying to address these issues
Cons: Everything needs to upgraded. Cost is too high for the quality
Hotel needs a lot of updating/renovations. Holes in curtains, stained linens, bathroom caulking coming off in strips and left.

very convenient for my visit

Based on previous reviews I was a little hesitant to book but I liked the price and location was convenient for my visit. Hotel is a bit dated but everyone was very friendly, the room was clean, the linens were clean and the room was very comfortable with plenty of space. I would stay again.
