Deciding which attractions to visit while on vacation is always tricky, but Sarlath Museum is one attraction you'll be glad you put on your list.
It's 420 miles from New Delhi, in a place called Varanasi.
For travelers wanting to save a few dollars, there are a couple of low-cost accommodations in the area. The Ali Baba Guest House and the Shree Hare rama hare krishna guest house are some of the more frequented places.
There's no need to venture far to stay in the height of luxury. There's a variety of upmarket hotels a short commute away. Whether you drop your suitcases at the Gateway Hotel Ganges or the Hotel Clarks, you're sure to be impressed.
The area around Sarlath Museum has some spots for food enthusiasts. Coffee fiends will love the variety of roasts and pastries at Green Hot Cafe (Dharmapala Road, Sarnath, Varanasi). Prefer something heartier? Green Hut Restaurant (Dharmapala Road, Opp. Sarnath Museum, Sarnath, Varanasi) offers an impressive menu bursting with choice.
Sarlath Museum is easily reached via public transportation. To get there by rail, jump off at Sarnath. From there, it's any easy walk of 0.6 miles.
