"We enjoyed our stay at Lily Pad. All beds were comfortable and clean. The screened in porch was our favorite location in the house! Spent our evenings relaxing and playing games in a very comfortable location. We did not enjoy the condition of the water due to extreme overgrowth of grasses. And we were unpleasantly surprised by the view of a nuclear power plant right across the river."

"Feels very private and calm. The view goes on for days and the birds almost seem to want to show off. It rained for a portion of our trip and it didnt even matter. The level of cozy is rediculous if you just need some quiet time."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and well-maintained property, and the host was very responsive to any questions. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the living space was a perfect size for our group of 12 people. The only issue for us was that the driveway and entry steps are (unavoidably) steep, which made getting in and out a little difficult for my parents, who are in their 80s. Otherwise, it was an excellent choice!"

"We had six guys staying at the house and could have accomadated 12. We had plenty room and the house had everything we needed. All we had to bring was groceries, battery chargers and propane tank for the grill. I highly recommend this property"

"Peaceful getaway with only the sounds of the river bubbling and leaves rustling. This property was perfect for a much needed respite. It is both in the middle of no where but also a short drive to the small town of Mentone. The house is beautifully furnished and incredibly well kept. We were there in the spring so the adjacent ski resort and girls camp were empty, but imagine the private property with gate gives you quite a bit of privacy even when they are occupied. "My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. Hoots Hideaway was just what we needed. Cabin was clean, bed was very comfortable & hot tub was a nice bonus. Address provided took us right to the cabin. We didn’t use any of the cooking utensils, since I wanted a break from that too, but there were plenty of supplies available. Cabin is near Desoto Falls. Will definately be back!"
