"Work in progress, this hotel is being renovated but is old and noisy with masked musty smells. The window in our room was filthy to the point that you could hardly see through it. We were woken up by lobby noise every hour or so all night."

"Very disappointed in this property considering it is a Hyatt and advertised as four-star. The biggest gripe is that the rooms smell musty and moldy. Walking into the rooms (we had two) the temps were high and the smell quite odorous. The smell remained all night long and was bothersome. Various complaints from other people staying at the hotel during discussions in hallway and breakfast - from thermostats that did not function, to overall cleanliness. I won't stay here again. "

"First, the staff is outstanding. upon arrival Dylan checked us in. This young man was professional but more importantly super friendly. He provided us with great information about the local neighborhood and some super dining recommnedations. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Room has all the basics a traveler would need. The downsides to staying at this hotel range from the overpriced drinks and food to the resort fee added to the end of the stay bill. A gin & tonic was $18.00 as opposed to a well crafted cocktail in Old San Jaun was $15.00. The pool area is nice but very small. Most chairs are not in the sun for a good portion of the day. The area being small, it was difficult to find chairs, especially when the hotel allows cruiseship guest to rent out cabanas (not in the sun). Then the cruiseship guest take pool chairs as well. Given the limited pool area it is unclear what the resort fee is for. Very disappointing overall. The best part of our stay was the staff! "

"Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but due to how busy the hotel was, we were asked to wait and come back later. We didn’t end up getting into our room until around 6:30–7:00 PM, which was a bit frustrating after traveling. That said, the hotel itself was clean and the room was decent overall. One issue we ran into was the shower door. It didn’t seal properly, so water would leak out and leave the bathroom floor soaking wet after each use. The highlight of the stay was definitely the location. It’s in a great spot and made getting around very convenient. Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences, but the delayed check-in and bathroom issue are worth noting."

"A little pricey but excellent hotel and service. The actual beach is really small, which was a little disappointing based on the pictures i had seen. Had to wait almost an hour after check in time (4PM) and had already been waiting for over an hour, but lots of people were also on the same boat."
