“Rooms are clean. Good price on breakfast buffet but get there early. Food at 9 was a little aged. Nice facility. Exercise room was missing some items for cleaning and didn’t look to be cleaned between days but it was empty both times. Missing some crucial 10 lb weights. Accommodating gracious staff. No soap in showers 1st day.”

“It was convenient to Durango activities, Pool was good, hot tub was broken, work out room was a joke, faucet in room was about to fall off the sink, and whoever painted this place must have been drunk and painted it with a mop or broom. Not likely to go back to this place but it was all that was left over late.”

“The General Palmer Hotel is a special historic hotel. Beautiful and comfortable in all areas. A few things that would make this hotel excellent would be in-room coffee, complimentary water bottles in room, and more or brighter lighting in the rooms. There was not a smart tv in the room but for us it was a minor issue. Beds were very comfortable and the decor matched the feel of the historic hotel. ”

“Great location, but they only gave us two towels and there was no maid service for our two night stay. There was no alarm clock. The breakfast selections were pretty weak. But again it was a great location”

“Parking was fine. Hard boiled eggs and english muffins for breakfast were good. There was too much liquid in oatmeal for my taste ( at 7am). I appreciated the refrigerator, the microwave and the Keurig coffee machine in the room.”
