We were so pleasantly surprised at how a home that can accommodate/slerp 22 was truly spacious enough to be together without being on top of each other and the views were spectacular! Beds (& pillows) were very comfortable. Easy drive (10-12 minutes) to a grocery. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need (2 coffee pots and even 2 crock pots!). Having a second full fridge on the lower level for beverages or food overflow...

"We had an absolutely amazing stay in Luray!!! The location was ideal in a safe quiet neighborhood and extremely close to the Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and various stores & food options. The home was completely immaculate, like a nice new hotel, and had everything perfectly staged. The rooms were able to comfortably fit everyone in our party (7). The bedding and linens provided were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice with fresh towels and good hot water pressure....

The only small issue we had is that the "master bedroom" does not have the bathroom attached. "We had a great time at Old Wagon Lodge. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the property manager was so nice and easy to communicate with. We had rain during our trip which was the perfect excuse to stay in all day and have a family gaming tournament in the game room. The game tables were perfect for our two boys age seven and ten. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is a pretty quirky house, lots of rooms and closets. Takes a bit to find your way around which is part of the charm. This is not a 5 star hotel. It's a quaint, country house with all the idiosyncrasies of a 100+ year old home. But, it was clean, comfortable and a great location to stay. If you're looking for plush luxury this is not your place. If you want a fun, beautiful homey spot this will suit your needs."
