“Clean property, great host, nice area”

“We loved the area of this property. We could walk everywhere and the neighborhood was safe and welcoming. The beds were sooo comfortable and lots of great personal touches. It was a bit tough to find (for future guests, you are looking for an upstairs unit) but once we settled in all went very well.”

A previous guest had signed in to a streaming service, so I didn't have to bother my lovely wife, but that really should be cleared after each stay. Air conditioning window unit was not secured, which is something we consider necessary on first floor/easily reached spaces. Plumbing in bathroom was very loose for some reason. We were charged a security deposit, told we had to pay extra for parking, and then hit with an additional $100 “house rule violation” because there was one unregistered guest. “I noticed immediately how dirty it was. Then as I was touring the apartment the shower was dirty and had paint peeling and 6 inch strips along with rusty metal lung to the bottom. I had bought $ worth of groceries for the week when I get back to the room the very next day from work, I realize the fridge was not cold enough to keep my food at a safe temperature.
