“A beautiful old Inn which was welcoming, warm and comfortable, all in keeping with the history of the building and the surrounding locale. Great food, and wonderful, attentive staff mad our stay very enjoyable. Thank you!”

“Only two staff trying to run hotel. Had to wait for a table then service, even though the restaurant only had a couple of people in it. As the girl couldn’t run everything, not her fault. Food was terrible and dry with brown coleslaw. The hotel didn’t seem that busy considering it was Easter weekend. Had the same problem I at the other Premiere Inn hotel in Exeter last year.”

“Large spacious room, comfortable beds, small but modern bathroom, great setting and nice and quiet over night, free parking on site. Staff were very helpful with any of our questions, breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety and all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely return”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast ”

“Our room was lovely and clean bar area adequate but outside areas could do with a bit of TLC breakfast Continental only offer poached eggs and boiled eggs with a selection of croissants, cereals small car park ”
