Elegance in Historic St. Augustine.Posted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: Elegant with cookies. GREAT bedding!! Comfy beds top notch sheets and towels.
Cons: Temperature in main lobby and communal area-TOO COLD!!!!
Location: St/ Augustne-perfect location.
This is an elegant hotel in the heart of St. Augustine. Get up early and take a jog or walk down Magnolia Street-very close by. Nice little pool area outside. Only draw back-the main lobby-freezing cold-not necessary. Could not stay in main area because of the cold. The weather was delightful when we there-70's-80's LOW humidity-no need for a freeze. Staff agreed but didn't have way to correct, Otherwise very friendly staff. The cookies of course are still a draw!! Although one staffer seemed reluctant to give out cookies?

Great hotel a short walk from all the attractionsPosted Oct 23, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay in St. Augustine and the staff at Doubletree made it all the more enjoyable. Rebecca checked us in quickly and made awesome recommendations on restaurants and activities. Everything in our room was perfect and we have nothing negative to say.

Within walking distance of Historic AreasPosted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: Location, free parking, mini refrigerator/ coffee maker/ microwave in the room.
This hotel is close to the major landmarks in the city core. If you would like a break from walking or to get an overview of the history, take a trolley tour. It stops right across the street from the hotel. St. Augustine, while somewhat of a tourist trap, is a lovely place to spent some time.

Historic DistrictPosted Oct 11, 2015
They staff was very friendly & the kids loved the cookies. The bed was very comfortable & bathrooms were exceptional clean. The only thing that was an issue, we only had 2 towels for a room booked for 4 persons. Informed the front desk but no one brought any that night. We saw housekeeping and asked for more towels which we got an abundance but not enough wash cloths. Overall, I would stay here again & they did grant our request to be next to family members.

Why even have onePosted Sep 28, 2015
My mother-in-law got ill and needed to go to the hospital. I called the front desk and asked if they had a wheelchair that we could use - I was told it was locked in a closet she could not access. Why have one if your guests couldn't have access to it when needed.

Great hotel, good locationPosted Sep 26, 2015
Can't go wrong here. St Augustine ended up being better than anticipated and this hotel was great in every way. If we get to go back, this is where we will be.

We'd stay again!Posted Sep 14, 2015
Even though the surrounding hotels make you question your stay, the inside was beautiful. Clean, updated and had friendly staff. It was the small touches like a warm cookie at your checkin that made the experience that much better. It was a short distance to the downtown historic area. Went for a girls weekend getaway and we all said we would absolutely stay here again.
