“The house met our needs well. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the basement, and were able to help our son carbo load for the marathon with meals prepared in the kitchen. The host was very communicative and had good ideas about the marathon and other activities. Parking was easy—right at the front curb. “The host failed to provide property access info at check-in time; when asked for it, the host said there would be a delay due to a misunderstanding with the cleaner. Eventually, the host said the place would not be ready for check-in that day at all. An alternative property was offered for our first night, but, as it was a 30 minute drive away, it was not appropriate. We made alternative arrangements for our first night.
