"Mostly the room was ok. Bath only had 1 towel. Didnt notice til morning. One side of the bed had 2 hdmi plugs. No electric. Other side had nothing. Asked girl at desk if they had an extension cord we could use. She said I could go buy one at the store. If you have a cpap it makes it pretty tough."

"A Grand Exterior, A Slightly Underwhelming Stay (With Potential) Set in an imposing and rather beautiful building in the heart of Stirling, the Collasio Hotel couldn’t be better placed. Surrounded by cobbled streets, period buildings, the dramatic presence of Stirling Castle and the nearby Old Town Jail, you genuinely feel like you’re about to step onto the set of a period drama—grand, atmospheric, and full of promise. Inside, however, that sense of occasion fades rather quickly. The décor feels oddly generic and, at times, a little cheap—more “Dunelm clearance aisle” than historic Scottish landmark. There’s little to no sense of the building’s story or its surroundings, and the overall effect leans towards something slightly tacky rather than thoughtfully styled. Strip away the exterior and you could just as easily be in a budget chain hotel off a motorway. This continues in the Bruce Suite. While the name gives a nod to Robert the Bruce, the design leans more towards crushed velvet, silver accents and modern abstract art. It’s not without effort, but the overall feel is less “curated design” and more “recently discovered a love of interiors and gone all in at once”—plenty of enthusiasm, if not quite a clear point of view. There are also a few small quirks that raise a smile. A decanter and glasses are thoughtfully placed in the room—though entirely empty, leaving you to decide whether to admire it or start your own minibar. "Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website."

"Wing Street is an excellent property in the middle of Stirling town center. Rooms are well kept, decorated and clean. My only minor issue was finding the parking but I met the owner as I was leaving to park and he gave me directions. Parking is immediately behind the building with an entrance available. They provided a large bottle of water in the mini-fridge as well as milk for coffee and tea. Bed was comfortable and WiFi worked well. We would recommend it as a place to stay while visiting Stirling."

"A historic building located in the city close to the castle. Beautiful double room which was clean, large and surprisingly very quiet. Power shower in room was excellent. A little pricy but well worth it in the end"

"The room was okay, but was in need of refurbishment. I.E. Furniture was old, only one bedside table, electric sockets difficult to get to, bathroom door handle loose. Stayed 2 nights and bed not made with room cleaning. Had a meal in the bar that was served cold."

"Very nice people. Made our stay very pleasant. Enjoyed the wine and beer on the patio with our host after we settled into our room. They gave us a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant for a yummy dinner."
