The front desk staff was excellent, gave us suggestions for places to eat and shortcuts to avoid heavy traffic. They don't provide breakfast but coffee was available 24 hours a day. Our room was clean just a bit dated . There is an indoor pool and hot tub both well maintained. Again the staff was fantastic

The property is old, funiture is old, feel old every corner. It needs renovation and upgrades. We paid close 300 per night, not worth it. Only the location is closed to the center of the village.

The location was okay, but there were no restaurants nearby that were easy to get to because of the traffic in town. The room was nice, but not having even minimal breakfast for guests was an inconvenience.

The hotel has a rustic charm, and the sauna and hot tub were nice, but the entire property feels extremely old and in need of updating. The carpets throughout the hotel felt unpleasant and made the place feel unclean. Everything was functional, but the age of the furnishings and facilities was hard to overlook. Overall, the hotel needs significant renovation to feel clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Very old place but maintained well . Staff was extremely helpful . Be ready to walk a lot to the rooms . They are situated far from the front desk . Room does not have microwave owen . AC or heater does not work correctly .

Desperate need of a remodel! Old worn out carpet, towels, tiles, bedding, curtains. It was clean. Pool and hot tub in good shape. Staff was friendly, but couldn’t help keep the internet working. Tv was tiny, remote worked frustratingly slow. It was an expensive area, but this was not a $300 room.

The Commodores Inn definitely needs some TLC. It’s obvious it was once an upscale motel, but it’s now down at the heel. That said our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. We slept well. I had been looking forward to a morning swim, but the pool did not open until 10:00 and checkout is at 11:00. Plus, we needed to leave by 10. It would have been great for it to be open earlier.

This property is close to attractions in Stowe without being right in the heart of town. The price was reasonable. If you don’t choose a view room you get a window showing another hotel window just FYI. There is not an open restaurant on site. Though they do serve 24 hour coffee. Something I thought was strange, when we asked for good suggestions for restaurants in the area. The desk person said to google it. Nice enough guy just would’ve liked some better local input.

Julieeeeeee thank you for checking us in you have such a bright smile and such a welcoming personality and the property itself is located walking distance from the town nice quiet place with pool and jacuzzi open until 10pm although the sauna wasn't working but overall it's a perfect property nothing modern but hey as along it has clean room and no insects running around at night it's all good AC was working ...!!!!!!

Absolutely a joy to stay here. From the warm welcome from the older man at the desk at check in to any and all needs met with kindness. The lady during the day was just as kind and helpful. A breath of fresh air from the chain hotels. I'm egar to return for another stay.
