While it took some doing to find because we were not informed that the front desk was actuallly the cashier's counter of the adjacent restaurant, after ascending some stairs behind an unassuming door, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, private, quiet, fairly well decorated, and overlooked ...
Large basement room without ensuite but does have its own private bathroom just outside of room. Location is relatively close to all theatres(i.e. about 20 to 25 min walk to farthest, Festival Theatre). Hosts are very helpful.
I couldn't believe how quiet it was above bar/ restaurant, very well insulated. Room well equipped, even novels; comfortable bed; room good size; excellent location. My only disappointment was that the bathroom floor was filthy, vacuumed, but needed a was. I would return, management was very gracious ...
If you are taking in the theaters, this hotel is centrally located. The longest walk would be the Festival Theater which will take you about 1/2 hour. Hotel room is spacious, quiet and very clean. Parking is near by, Close to river and Shakespear Gardens if you wish to go for a nice walk. Would recommend ...
This was a slow tedious check in. It took about 20 minutes. Although I had my reservation printed out, there seembed to be some mix up that it took a lot of time to sort out.
My friend and I stayed here as we were visiting stratford. It was a quick and easy check in, even though our plans had changed last minute. The staff was helpful, and willing to take the extra step to help us out with our change.
My husband and I stood at the Chisholm B+B for 3 days, attending a new years eve festivity at the Bruce Hotel. We choose that B+B because it looked very romantic from the outside but also the 'English Room' which has a 4-poster-bed. It was inside as romantic as it looked from the outside! The bed ...
We, myself and my 2 daughters, stayed in the Chatsworth. It was very comfortable and well kept. Terry was very thoughtful and helpful. Loved having a real breakfast with all of the guests too. Very nice. Oh, and the porch is wonderful too.
Small intimate hotel with friendly and hard working staff. Rooms clean and beds extremely comfortable. Restaurant cozy and menu choices excellent and delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The home and gardens are beautiful, the food and service are excellent and the hosts, Kevin and Kim are awesome. Best place we have ever stayed in Stratford. Just lovely!
One stays at this hotel for its location and price. It is in the center of town with easy access to everything. We've been to the hotel twice and stayed in two different rooms. Furnishings were very simple, and bathrooms were always a surprise. If you went to Europe on the cheap back in the day, ...
Dufton House is an annex to the Stone Maiden Inn in a different but convenient location. It is an old house and the style of the rooms is Victorian but with modern comforts and amenities. Among Stratford bed and breakfasts we have stayed in, it ranks high.
Warm & Friendly reception with other interested travellers at the B&B. Breakfast was always well presented and most enjoyable. Well worth a return visit.
