Sunset Beach Beautiful 2 Bedroom Villa 1.5 miles from Sunset Beach

"The owner was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. Extremely good about getting back with us when contacted. The beds were comfortable, lots of options to choose from for pillows and blankets. The Resort area was nice, quiet, and close to everything. We left a day early because our 6 year old Corgi got extremely sick on Day 4 of a 7 day trip. It was Labor Day weekend and a lot of businesses were closed (including Vet hospitals). Our Vet seems to think she ate something not intended for a dog. Since our dog was always on a leash when leaving the Condo, we are unsure how this happened. Just prior to her getting sick, the Resort was cutting grass and spraying something on the ground. While it seems unfair to report this as being part of a review on the Condo, I have yet to hear back from Kathy Nobles, Operations Manager, at Sea Trail Resort letting me know what was sprayed on the ground. Because if it wasn't the stuff being sprayed on the ground, then it came from the condo. In all fairness, it could have been a previous guest that dropped something on the ground that could have rolled under the beds. From this point forward, I plan to check everything (even under the beds) upon arrival when traveling with my dog. I'm hopeful that the cleaning crew does the same."

"Perfect pet friendly getaway. All the special touches. Screened in front porch. Spacious storage rooms downstairs for beach items. Also has beach toys and boogie boards to use. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook in. New refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven. Dining table for 6. Nice sheets, pillows and towels. Nice washer and dryer. Nice microwave and toaster oven. Comfy furniture. Definitely recommend!"

"We had an excellent time in the rental for our one week golf vacation. The golf tournament was hosted at the Sea Trail so we could walk to the nightly events. There is a pool on property only a few strides away and I believe their was a hot tub, but we did not use it. The property was sold between the time we booked it and the time our rental occurred. This did not adversely affect our rental as both the seller and buyer worked with us to make this work. Thank you. The could improve the locks on the entry doors to make these code enabled. I have not gotten a key for a door in many years and it was worrisome to keep track of one key for two guests. I am sure they will fix this in the future. ESPECIALLY because the key was for one door and we always wanted to go in the other door. ELEVATOR!!! Yup, don't miss that key fact when on the third floor. Made it so much nicer to rent! View was great overlooking a par three green. Watched a number of groups go through over the week. Entertaining. Ice maker did not work in one set of rooms but it did in the other. Inconvenient, but not terrible. All the other things you want and come to expect in a rental where there and used during the week. Thanks again for a great stay. Todd and Doug"
Shell House - Less than a block to beach access and recently updated!

"We had a great stay at the Shell House. It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was a very short walk to the beach. Check-in was very easy. We love Sunset Beach and have been coming since 1998. We would definitely stay at the Shell House again!!"
