"Stupid outside checking in panel with no weather protection, you have to input all your details again that were on the original booking before it will dispense a key, then it tried to charge me 200 MORE for a 2 night stay, than I had on my reservation. By chance a staff member as there and resolved it by producng the agreed contract. No idea why the login system did not have the same price. Room was very hot, no aircon, cramped with three beds stuffed in one room. When I complained to staff the...

"Stettlen is in a good location for public transport. The train station is 2 minutes walk away and has a direct link to Bern. This is why we chose this hotel. There is a large car park behind the hotel. Food was good and breakfast plentiful."

"The hotel is clean and quiet but it's not suited for summer use. Top-floor rooms feel like an oven. No window curtains. In the annex building (not the one shown in the photos), there are solid exterior blinds that cut off fresh air completely, if lowered. No AC either. At least a $5 fan could be provided in the rooms. Couldn't get any sleep."
