“Our visit to the Hiker's Studio in the Taos Ski Valley was a great trip - the space as expected is compact, and located well up the mountain at 10200 feet of elevation. Plan for a scenic but slow drive up from the base to the cottages, however once you're there the Bavarian Restaurant, Lift 4, and the skiing area are a short walk from the front door of the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and there is in-room laundry equipment (bring your own soap) if your stay is longer……

“The place had pretty much everything needed as far as kitchen supplies and toilet paper, etc. it is nicely decorated and clean and quiet. it is an upstairs unit which I was not aware of. This is probably good for being quiet and a good view off the balcony but up 2 flights of stairs from the parking. Also, the fireplace is wood burning and not gas. ”

“This was a great location to the lift but still drove our snowboarders back and forth. I do believe other times it can be a ski in and out. Having the 2 rooms joined by the kitchen was a great lay out for our family. Communication with the owners was easy and convenient. Our check in and out was seamless. ”

“It was everything a Taos VRBO should be: an adobe home with vibrant decor. Located very close to the historic district it had private parking, a private courtyard, a hot tub, well gas fireplace, good water pressure with plenty of hot water and a well equipped kitchen.”

“Great family vacation! Beautiful views from all the windows. The kids loved the loft beds. All cookware we needed for cooking meals was there. Short walk to grocery store, coffee shop and stores. Host was very kind and quick to answer questions. Only downside was issues with water heater not working for 2 days. Bring your quarters for the washer/dryer! ”
