"Very fine and well cared for home, splendidly located and outfitted. The roads are quite narrow and curving, as one would expect in a mountain setting. Good nearby restaurants although parking can be challenging. We brought our small border terrier and she too had a fine time. Top recommendation. "

"Great house, great location, beautiful view, comfy beds. My only suggestion would be to please get better curtains for the sliding door in the primary bedroom. They don’t close all the way and let lots of light in early in the morning, had to hang towels to cover gaps"
"Quite an enjoyable stay at this somewhat oddly designed house on top of a hill overlooking the Highlands. The driveway is well hidden (and steep) so make sure to watch closely for the house number on a large tree. But once up the driveway, it expands into an area for 4 cars. Kitchen/Bathrooms are all modern and nice. Wrap around decks give it its Treehouse name, and on the top floor you can see over the trees and the surrounding area. Location is perfect- less than 0.5 mile from downtown, and there was always plenty of parking even on a late June weekend. Bruce (contact host) was awesome and great communication."
"Clean, spacious, quiet, 5 minute drive to grocery and town center. Well equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Master has king bed. Good Wi-Fi but had to enable Wi-Fi calling in order to make and receive phone calls with Verizon. Nice enclosed deck at rear of home for outdoor grilling. Good places to take walks right from front door and staying within Shelby Community."

"This is a lovely and well-appointed house. The bedrooms are very roomy and the living areas spacious. Unfortunately, Mirror Lake had just been dredged and was not as clear as in prior visits to the area. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful setting and the whole family enjoyed excursions on the pedal boat and nearby hikes. The older folks also took many beautiful walks in the neighborhood. We were thrilled to find the mountain laurel and dogwood in full bloom and the rhododendron bloom just starting. Homes and businesses in the area featured beautiful blooming flowers. The house is split level so might not be suitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs. This was not an issue for our group. We can wholeheartedly recommend this rental."
