"Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. The couch was very uncomfortable. We used the pool and hot tub almost everyday of our stay, which we enjoyed very much. Housekeeping did a very nice job of throughly cleaning our room before and during our stay. Hotel lobby is very pretty."

"The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. However, both days we got back to the hotel and our room had not been clean yet. The one day we just needed new towels and the second day we went down to the lobby while it was cleaned. We were in a handicap accessible room, but the tub was not accessible for him."

"Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort)."
