Modern Westernized Hotel with a fantastic view of Lake Toya and wonderful staff. A 25 minute drive to Rutsusu ski area. Lovely soaking jacuzzi tub with views of the lake. We will definitely stay here again to ski Rutsusu.

The weather was bad but still beautiful. There are many places to walk around and see. During summer months, they have fireworks every night, rain or shine. They shoot out from the ships, which will move as they shoot fire works.

The autumn colors were just starting to fade, but the view from the Ropeway was still spectacular. That small plug of lava outflow from many years before was smoking as evening set in. On the island of Hokkaido, Japan, Lake Toya area has beautiful scenery. #GreatOutdoors
