"We had a wonderful stay and were very impressed by the thoughtful service. As we were celebrating my partner's birthday, the hotel kindly surprised us at check-in with a birthday card and some chocolates, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We were also delighted to find that our room had been upgraded. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the cricket ground. Waking up to that view was a real treat. Breakfast was included, which added even more value to our stay. The location is excellent, with a tram stop right next to the hotel, making it very convenient to get around. The free parking was another big bonus and made our trip even easier. The only minor issue was that the shower drainage was a little slow, causing some water to pool while showering. However, this was a small inconvenience and did not take away from an otherwise excellent experience. Thank you to the hotel team for helping make the birthday celebration extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future."
