"Gite le Tapatoru is a wonderful chalet up into the hills above Aix-les-Bains. I thoroughly recommend it as a luxurious and peaceful base for exploring this area. It is large, well equipped, and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is provided - and even some things you didn't know you needed! We enjoyed the raclette and fondue sets, as well as the pilates and yoga equipment available in the basement room. The bathrooms are great, with lovely showers. There is a great washing line...

Superb hotel close to old town and lake!
"We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect - only a few minutes walk from the old town and the lake. It felt safe. The room was clean, modern and the perfect size for our weekend getaway. Breakfast (at €12~ pp) was very competitive with the other petit dejeuners we had out during our stay. The gratis tea, coffee and croissants from 1pm a really nice touch too. It would’ve been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, but this is a small nitpick. Staff friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone thinking about a short stay in Annecy. We will be back. Merci "
