Over the past couple of years, we have consistently visited this facility, but this recent visit clearly revealed a decline in cleanliness. We were unable to obtain clean cups in the room, and despite assurances that the phone would be fixed during our week-long stay, it remained non-functional—never repaired. We waited over forty-five minutes for linen to make the bed at 9:45pm. Maintenance improperly threw our towels on the ground after we had placed them out by the pool before 10:00am, despite the gates being unlocked upon our arrival. A manager named Kitty behaved unprofessionally and confrontationally when addressing these issues, repeatedly referencing a “booklet" we never received. Kitty questioned our concerns, implying we thought we were more important than other guests, which was never our intention; several other guests were present, and some of their belongings were also thrown on the ground. Our only objective was to secure a shaded area, given the limited availability of umbrellas in the pool area. When our daughter experienced a medical emergency in the lobby, not a single staff member followed up with us after calling 911 and resolving the situation. I had to request an incident report, and not once did they inquire about her well-being. Despite the misconduct of the manager and maintenance staff, we had positive interactions with Rusty, Amanda, and Darbin. However, due to the overall decline in the facility's cleanliness and environment, we will not return.
