"Everything about our stay was great, with the exception of a handful of stains on the towels and bed sheets. Other than the stains, nothing about the rooms felt dirty/unclean. The property was very well maintained, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and location was great!"

Dreamsea Uluwatu

Dreamsea Uluwatu

8/10 Good
"I looked up videos of the stairs ahead of time, but there were more than I anticipated. After getting down the first set of stairs, you’ll go across a bumpy, sandy path to get to the hotel and then have more steep steps at the hotel. The steps to get to the rooms are also very steep. This is all fine if you have a backpack or small bag. We had almost 20kg in our suitcases, and it was a workout. Just be prepared for that if you are bringing a suitcase. It’s like hiking, and we were sweating and needing breaks along the way. The bathroom water smelled pretty bad, and I don’t think I would enjoy showering in it for a long stay. We were worried about mosquitos because there was a big gap in the doors when they were closed and locked, but actually we didn’t get any bites. The view is beautiful, and we loved being so close to the ocean. The beaches were pretty clean too. We had two meals here, and the food was great. We stayed at a fancy resort with many dining options after this, but we enjoyed the food at Dreamsea better. The fruit is so fresh and sweet, and the teas were great. We also loved the rendang. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed our stay and slept well. I don’t think I would stay here for a long time because it’s not convenient to get out of the hotel and get to other places, but it’s so nice if you just want to be close to the ocean."

Find out more about Uluwatu

Uluwatu, Bali Hotel Guide

Think about paying a visit to Uluwatu, which is 30 miles south of Bali's city center.

Most tourists who travel to Bali take the time to visit Tanah Lot.

Chip and drive your way around New Kuta Golf for some fun in scenic surroundings. You'll find the C151 Luxury Villas at Dreamland and AYANA Resort and Spa Bali nearby, and both are great accommodation options.

Uluwatu offers a great range of establishments which enables tourists to choose a place that best meets their requirements. Hotel establishments at the more economical end of the scale include the Hill Ungasan House and Asri Jewel Villas & Spa.

Uluwatu is home to more upscale establishments, for example, the Bulgari Resort Bali and The Edge Bali.

Follow the sweet smell of freshly brewed coffee to Warung 75, a favorite Uluwatu rest stop where you can enjoy some time out. When you start feeling especially peckish and need something a little more substantial, make your way to Flamingo Dewata Restaurant. As the sun starts to set, kickstart a night out with a drink or two at Lovation.
