5/5 Excellent

Would stay again.
It was a great way to bring in the new year and spend time with friends. The hot tub was great and so was the quiet location. The house was a little small for 5 adults but it was still enjoyable. Even tho it rained all weekend, we still got out and checked out the yawk river and waterfalls. Can't wait to be back to do the white water rafting!

Wonderful Getaway
The property is great! My wife and I really enjoyed our long weekend stay. My wife loved all the natural light in the master bedroom and the rustic charm in the rest of the house. The Wifi was solid. It would have been nice to have instructions for the Television (maybe even a channel listing), but that wasn't a big deal since we didn't watch much TV. We did watch a movie each night on Netflix. It was close to Kentuck Knob, Fallingwater, Ohiopyle and Ohiopyle State Park. We would definitely stay here again in the future. I will mention three issues we had during our stay, so as to help improve others stays: 1. When we arrived the code to the front door did not work, so we couldn't get in. I called Cindy who asked me to call the operations manager, who's contact was in my welcoming instructions email. After about 15 mins we got help from the operations manager and got in, but I recall reading an earlier review about someone being locked out during their stay because of the entry lock code not working. It may be time to change it out or replace the batteries more often. We never got it to work for our stay. 2. The weather got colder while we were there. The first night and next day we needed AC and it worked great. But by the second night and third day we needed heating. The baseboard heating in the older part of the house was working well, but when I changed the thermostat from AC to Heat and raised the temp, it never came on in the master bedroom or living room. I contacted the operations manager, but she never responded. We were able to use the gas fireplace to keep the living area and master bedroom warm, but I would have appreciated a response to address the problem. 3. The handle to the toilet in the main bathroom gets stuck every time. So it runs and runs unless you push it back up. Not a huge deal for us, but we didn't figure it out the first time and forgot occasionally, so it ran sometimes and once overnight.

Great fall leaf color
Lovely place to stay if they fix the leaking toilet. The house uses well water and runs out. We were not aware that the leaking toilet would empty the water tank and leave us without water. When we reported the issue we found out it was a known issue. We had to turn the water on and off to the toilet before and after use to maintain water supply in the house for 4 people. We asked for a plumber to come and one was suppose to come on our 2 of a 3 day stay but either no plumber arrived or they did not fix the issue. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay.

Wow! We really needed this place! My family and I have had a rough couple months and have been wanting to sneak away for a while. We decided to stay for a 3 day weekend at Turning Leaf Lodge, and I wish we would’ve done it sooner. The place was perfect! So clean and cozy with just enough seclusion to feel alone (together 😊) but still close enough to do some cool things. We totally enjoyed cooking in the fully-stocked kitchen, sleeping in late in the super-comfy beds, and relaxing in the clean and bubbly hot tub!! My mom, sister and I stayed up late drinking wine and reliving old memories by the cozy, no-fuss gas fireplace. We visited the Christian Klay winery (such a great selection) and the Braddock Inn for dinner and back again for the best brunch we’ve had in soooo long (good food and a great atmosphere all decorated for Halloween). Every day and night at Turning Leaf was perfect! I want a little place JUST LIKE THIS, but for now, TLL will be our go-to for close-by, long, relaxing weekends away!!!
