“The hotel is lovely and very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The rooms are a little smaller than in a typical hotel, but still spacious enough and this wasn’t a problem for us.
My main concern was the amount of light in the room at night. The shutters completely block the outside light, but the air conditioning has a large, very bright display with no apparent night mode to turn it off. It’s essentially like having a small lamp on all night. There is also quite a bit of light coming……

“The apartment is conveniently located and is near the historic town and Atarazanas Mercado. Neighbourhood is quiet, so you will not be affected by noices from the street at night. Laundry facilities are provided free of charge. The main adverse comment was that wifi did not work in the room throughout our 4- night stay. Also the kitchen utensils were basic and working space in kitchen is too small.”
“This was the perfect property in the perfect location! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Be Mate staff were brilliant, with great communications before and during our stay. They did everything possible to make our stay easy and comfortable and were on hand all the time to help with any queries. I can suggest no improvements (apart from perhaps a wardrobe / draws for clothes rather than an open hanging space) - but that is minor! Highly recommended for a perfect Malaga city break.”

Reasonably priced cafe downstairs with fresh sandwich options.
The family room felt quite cramped with luggage in it but we weren't in Malaga to sit in a room in the summertime!
Good, affordable option for a family wanting to explore and be in a great position to do so. Picasso museum, so many restaurants, the market all walkable.”
