"Friendly staff"

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rochester - Victor by IHG

8/10 Good

"Chet the receptionist was extremely helpful we asked where to get hot water to make tea in our room and he gave us equipment to make tea in our room which was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We ere hoping to have a peaceful evening. Unfortunately there was a children's party that night and they used the swimming pool outside of our room and they were extremely noisy for hours and their parents were using their phones on loud speaker outside of our room. I think it would be kind if the guests were told when making the booking if there was a chance of a lot of noise."

"Best in class in Rochester area. Clean, safe, not a welfare hotel so no loitering in the parking lot. Excellent front desk crew, helpful management, good stay for the price! Beds are clean, no bugs etc. Each room has some little challenge like fridge is missing shelves, shower has no soap etc. Be prepared for that. But everything around it is really disgusting. Literally right off the I-90 and 390...easy on/off. Just south of the city. Dining options nearby. Hot breakfast includes eggs, sausage, waffles, toast/bagels, coffee, juice, cold cereal. Well worth the price. I stay every time I am in town."

"The room was huge! Loved that! The carpets were clean and the bed was comfortable. Great selection at the breakfast buffet and the staff was attentive to keeping everything full. Overall the staff was helpful. The only thing that was frustrating was the Keurig in the room was broken."

Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester/Victor

10/10 Excellent

"I typically stay at this location each year when I travel to Upstate New York. The rooms are always spacious and clean, the breakfast hot with various choices, and the parking free. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I was in town this year to officiate a wedding. The use of the free wifi as well as the computer and printer in the office center area was a blessing, as required changes to the wedding vows needed to be made. Additionally, right next door the japanese restaurant which is in walking distance served the best authentic Japanese food. Longhorn Steakhouse is located a short driving distance away as is Starbucks. I highly recommend this hotel as it is centrally located to stores, freeway, and restaurants."
