"I am surprised by other reviews because I thought this place was terrible.The girl working the desk was unpleasant & unhelpful. The room was dirty & outdated. It took the toilet a whole minute to finish a flush.Even after driving hours to get there, attending a concert which was delayed & not getting to the room to sleep until 1am, the beds were so uncomfortable I still couldn't fall asleep despite being exhausted. When we woke up there was no power. When I went to the front desk to inquire why they just said "we don't have it either." No sorry for the inconvenience, no update on what might happen next, etc. Just total ambivalence. I get it wasn't their fault, but pretending to care would have been nice. I was very grateful we only had to spend one night there. This looks like the type of place that you would pull over to late at night desperate for somewhere to sleep, not a place you book & pay good money to stay at. To be clear, I do not have high expectations. I never stay at fancy hotels because I would rather just have a clean, safe place to sleep & spend my money on experiences. So the fact that I was so grossed out says a lot. As soon as I arrived and saw the place I tried to cancel since I had paid extra for a refundable reservation, but it was too late. When I got home a giant bug crawled out of my suitcase. Inside this hotel room was the only time the whole short trip my suitcase had been open. I would never stay here again. The bakery across the street was good."

"Place was great, the man who checked us in was absolutely lovely. The room itself wasn’t anything special, but it was in good quality for the price point. Biggest issue was the area. I was glad I was there with my partner. But had I been alone as a single woman, I would have been a bit scared. It was a bit of shady area, lots of vagrants, trash, needles on the street, etc. "

"Clean and well-appointed room, excellent staff. The hot tub was having issues, but it was still a nice place to relax and enjoy some views after a hectic day. Breakfast was delicious and served with a friendly and welcoming staff. Can't beat the views either! "

"The location is absolutely perfect. Just steps from the harbour and within walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and spots around downtown Vancouver. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Considering the prime location, we found the pricing to be very reasonable as well. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver!"

"The location is convenient, being right in downtown, it also comes with significant downsides that impacted my stay. The biggest issue is that the rooms are not soundproof. There is a constant level of outside noise, and it becomes especially noticeable at night. Emergency service sirens and general city activity made it difficult to get a good sleep. I had specifically paid extra for a top-floor room with a balcony, expecting a quieter and more premium experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. If anything, the balcony seemed to make the noise situation worse, with more disturbance coming in from outside. It felt more like an upsell than a meaningful upgrade."

"The place was absolutely beautiful! The host went above and beyond, surprising us with birthday decorations for my daughter, which made our stay extra special. Three adults stayed comfortably, and the space was incredibly well-equipped—everything you could possibly need and more. The location was perfect—easy walk to shops, restaurants, and just 10 minutes to the Seabus for quick access to downtown. The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back!"
