"Lovely location but definitely in need of some upgrade. I had to change room as the TV was not working. The room they changed me to had a nice outlook over the golf course but once again, plug sockets are sparse and the socket next to the mirror is virtually unusable as it is too low so you cannot plug anything in. The bathroom was OK but the bath/shower had black mould around the sills. I stay here a lot but it is the location and not the hotel that makes me return which is such a shame"

"Communication was good, followed steps to retrieve the key and complete my stay. Spacious room, utensils available and fridge, bed was a good size and parking onsite on first come basis, free parking after 17:00. The downfall was the toilet, after each flush the water in the toilet started to rise, took three attempts to completely flush. Also due to the heat, very hot in the room, no air-con facilities, the windows didn’t open wide enough to let air in, didn’t ask for a fan, so next time we see if this is an option as the heat disturbed my sleep. Other than that, really good place to stay, minimal noise during the night and decent decor. "

"Website gives impression there’s dedicated parking but you have to take your chances in neighbouring streets, although at least it is free. Best unload on corner, check in, then park. Rooms are spacious and well appointed but mine was poorly lit, only one light in large bathroom. No lift, many stairs potentially depending on where your room is. But for S London this is great value and the breakfast was especially good."
