“We had such a blast in this beautiful house in the windy bay! The views were absolutely breathtaking from every room in the house! The price was such a bargain and I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Winchester Bay, the dune access was close and we even walked down to the pier and caught some crab! We can't wait to return to this gem in the future.”

“Highly recommend. The host is the absolute best host I’ve ever experienced renting a house. Will certainly be back.”

“Great spot for a long weekend at the dunes! Host were extremely welcoming. Would definitely stay again.”

“Amazing experience building friendships and meaningful conversations. It was everything I was hoping for.”

“Shawn at check-in was so pleasantly nice and very helpful and even messed up our room so that he can make sure we understood the code to get in and some of the amenities! Very cute Lee decorated and the bed was super super comfy!!! Next time one night is not enough it will definitely be at least two! Very nice lake that is calm with kayaks and are boat dock that you can fish off of and no 🙂‍↔️ wind whatsoever just a beautiful experience in a beautiful place!”

“Out of all of the places we stayed on our trip driving up the coast, this was by far our favorite stop. We stayed at fancy resorts and swanky hotels, but the Siltcoos retreat was just magical! The amount of detail everywhere you look was amazing. The time and effort put into our conductors cabin, had us in awe. You guys are legendary for what you’ve accomplished there. Y’all we had deer walk up to us in the back yard! They didn’t even care we were there! The next time we are in Oregon, we will……

“Loved the breakfast , facility was clean and the beds are excellent”

“Great one night stop. For how old the building is they have done a great job at maintaining the rooms! Bed was comfortable! It was exactly what we needed for our one night stop!”

“Super clean motel, dog friendly with a $39 per night fee ( a little steep). The bad was people with dogs dont pick up their dogs poop. Not the motels fault just lazy pet owners.”

“Felt very homey. Loved the lodge look on the inside of the room. Cleanliness was overall great. NO Ac but enough windows to get a breeze through. The beds are comfortable but sounded like they were going to break when turning. Maybe bigger tvs. The lady at the front is very nice and sweet. Asked for items and she was at our door very quickly with what we asked for.”

“The beds were very comfortable but with the remodeling going on, the floors were dirty.”

“My previous worst motel stay was at a $35 place in AZ with chickens running around in the back of the hotel grounds. This hotel was worse than that, and cost more than 3 times to boot. There were soil stains on the rug. The plumbing and water flow reminded me of bathrooms from the 1970s. One of the chair cushions had springs so worn, that I could feel the front wood frame pushing up against the backs of my thighs as I sagged down. Electrical outlets were sparse enough that I had could not……

“Dude is rude and place is dirty bed sinks in me and my wife couldn't have a good time we fought to stay on the dang bed all night freaking felt like a taco as the bed swallowed both of us and had us riding the edge of a sand hill that kept sinking, and then they only have a one towel that looked like it came from a run down k mart blue light speicial and no phones this room at least had a Bible but nope now there wasnt any TV channels he bothered not to tell me any info but he kept asking me ……

“Amazing Cabin experience. Fully stocked, clean and very roomy”

“Rooms are dated and not cleaned properly. I originally booked and paid for two nights (through Hotels.com), and extended my stay for one more night directly with the hotel. BUT finally the hotel charged TWO extra nights on the bill. I tried to negotiate with and ask for refund from the hotel by email, however they had not responded to my enquries and requests for over one month (I checked out on Jul 12 and it's Aug 20 today when I write this review.). It's very irresponsible.”
