“A very nice gentleman checked us in to our a-frame. Simple inside. Not enough chairs for a family of six. Comfy beds. Rickety staircase to second floor. Mugs, dishes and plates in kitchen but no utensils, soap for washing up or pots or pans so don’t try to cook. It was okay but not sure it was worth the $400 for less than 24 hours. ”

“I could hear the cars, driving by, on 101 (right next to the hotel). The room said no smoking but it smelt like cigarettes and the air seemed stale. I opened the windows but the cars were noisy and people were lighting fireworks. There was no AC. I could hear a family in another room, being really loud, early Friday morning. ’The hotel is worn down and it shows. The stairs leading up to the second floor were narrow.
