All of the amenities that made it a great place in the past are still there: good-sized, private, quiet, comfortable rooms with direct beach access and outdoor options (tables, firepit, lounge chairs, covered patio), as well as basic contemporary features such as fridge and microwave in freshly painted, bright rooms where "retro" fixtures are well-maintained and in working order. The motel is easy distance to both Waldport and Yachats for food options and close to several famous coastal beaches and destinations. "

"Great ocean view. Great breakfast with lots of choices included. Great hot tub but indoor pool was a little chilly. Close to Yachats and Waldport. Free dvd movies to borrow from the office. Wonderful beach but we had lots of rain. Lots of tv channels. Staff was very welcoming. The room was clean and quiet."

"First time to Yachats, the cottage was just what we needed! Close enough to town, we walked to breakfast every morning. One day, we did the Amanda trail and we were able to walk directly from the cottage. Upon return, the hot tub was just what we required after a long day of hiking. Having a fire place made our late winter stay just perfect. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We look forward to renting this place again. Thank you! "
